David VIII (Georgian: დავით VIII; 1273–1311), from the Bagrationi dynasty, was king of Central and Eastern Georgia in 1292–1302 and 1308–1311. Eldest son of Demetrius II of Georgia by his Trapezuntine wife , he was appointed by the Ilkhan ruler Gaykhatu as king of Georgia as reward for his military service during the Rümelian uprising in 1293.

Rey de Georgia, hijo de Bagrates V y nieto de David VII. Sucedió a su padre en 1395 y murió en 1407. En 1393 libertó a su padre, que se hallaba en poder de los mogoles, y a quien Tamerlan le encargó que obligara a los georgianos a abrazar el islamismo.
