EDDIE JOBSON's reputation is such that he deserves the dignity of consideration for those rare "solo" releases. This loose band effort appeared a couple of years before the new age album "Theme of Secrets", and it couldn't be more different. Unfortunately, their common ground resides in mutual mediocrity.
Jobson's recordings as a leader showed much promise in their use of keyboards, computer-generated sounds, and wailing electric violin solos. Too bad he hasn't released more of his own music. He has, however, continued his music-making into the new millennium, joining the band UKZ in 2007; the band released the Radiation EP in 2009.
Eddie Jobson has always been one of my favorite keyboardists. This versatile musician can play progressive rock, jazz or even New Age. Eddie Jobson (2009) Edwin (Eddie) Jobson ( Billingham, 28 april 1955) is een Brits toetsenist en violist bekend om zijn gebruik van de synthesizer . Jobson was lid van verschillende progressieverockbands, waaronder Curved Air, Roxy Music, UK, Jethro Tull en (heel kort) Yes. Hij maakte in 1976-77 ook deel uit van de band van Frank Zappa.
