Biografía. Ricardo Gonzalo Pedro Montalbán y Merino, conocido simplemente como Ricardo Montalbán, fue un actor mexicano, nacido el 25 de noviembre de 1920, en la Ciudad de México. Hijo de Genaro Montalbán y Ricarda Merino, inmigrantes españoles, Ricardo creció en Torreón, Coahuila, donde estudió en la Escuela Comercial Treviño.

Ricardo Montalban, the award-winning actor who starred in numerous feature films and became a pop-culture icon as the enigmatic Mr. Roarke on the television series Fantasy Island, died January 14 at his Los Angeles home. He was 88.
It was Ricardo Legorreta ?s first project outside his country and by request of the Montalbán, the house had to represent Mexico in the highest level of sophistication. It could not be ostentatious and it had to have the maximum privacy which public figures needs.
