Lois Maxwell. Lois Maxwell (1927-2007) was a Canadian actress. She played M's secretary, Miss Moneypenny, in the first fourteen Eon productions' Bond films. Maxwell was eventually replaced by Caroline Bliss, who portrayed Miss Moneypenny in The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill.
