The Old Vic no tiene escenario sino que los espectadores están a pie de escena (tuve el privilegio, previo pago claro, de estar en la primera fila). Es además un "escenario 360º", es decir, hay espectadores rodeando toda la escena, y los actores ha de unir a su interpretación ubicarse en distintos ángulos para que todos podamos ver qué ocurre.
Went to The Old Vic to see Groundhog Day and I have to say the reviews from the press are spot on, we had a total blast watching this, great catchy songs, a fantastic diverse cast and a well imagined minimal set. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, laughed a lot, and even started to shed a small tear at the appropriate moments, could not ask for more.

The old Vic is een mooi en oud ingericht theater, als je binnen stapt lijkt het alsof je 100 jaar terug in de tijd stapt. Zo voelde de show van A christmas Carol dus alsof je er zelf bij was. Dit theater is iets minder 'toegankelijk' dan sommige andere Londonse theaters.
