Krishna Hutheesing. Krishna Nehru Hutheesing (1907-1967) was the youngest sister of Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India and Vijaya Lakshmi Pandit, one of the most influential women in Indian politics.
Krishna Nehru Hatheesing has written this autobiography from 1857 on-wards to 1966. She has described her ancestors, her parents, Allahabad and her life as a child in the first few chapters. I am impressed by the fact that she has been educated at home by a British governess who has made her a capable writer.
