Andreas von Bodenstein Karlstadt (født 1486 i Karlstadt am Main, Tyskland, død 24. desember 1541 i Basel, Sveits) var en tysk reformator. Han var en tidlig medarbeider med Martin Luther i Wittenberg , men etter at Luther kritiserte og omgjorde de radikale reformene Karlstadt hadde innført i byen i 1522, vendte han Luther ryggen og brøt med ham definitivt i 1523/24 og forlot Wittenberg.

Although there were always groups of Christians who kept the same day of rest as the descendants of Moses or Abraham, they were often associated with the Jews and, almost every time, severely persecuted.
