John Knox (født 1505 eller 1514, død 24. november 1572 i Edinburgh) var en skotsk reformator, kalvinist og ble som leder av Den skotske reformasjonen grunnlegger av den skotske statskirken. Han var opprinnelig romersk-katolsk prest, og antas å ha blitt omvendt til protestantismen av reformatoren George Wishart .
