Her parents were Sir Lawrence Palk, MP, 2nd Baronet and Dorothy Elizabeth Vaughan.

  5. Elizabeth Wilmot, Countess of Rochester (née Malet; 1651 – 20 August 1681) was an English heiress and the wife of John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester, the "libertine". She was the daughter of John Malet, of Enmore Manor, and Unton Hawley, daughter of Francis Hawley, 1st Baron Hawley.

  6. In 1651 Elizabeth Malet Countess Rochester was born to John Malet (age 36) and Unton Hawley (age 4). In 1656 [her father] John Malet (age 41) died. On 19 Feb 1658 Henry Wilmot 1st Earl Rochester (age 45) died at Sluys.
