11 de dic. de 2023 · Update on Anna Gunn’s Health and Illness. Anna Gunn, a 2013 Emmy Award winner, is battling lupus. SLE was identified as her ailment in July of this year. In Breaking Bad Season 4, Gunn’s weight increase was tragically caused by her struggle with SLE. During the filming of the fourth season, she fell ill.
Anna Gunn starred in many wonderful roles in films and serials – such as Deadwood, Greyspoint, etc., but her role as Skyler White in Breaking Bad undoubtedly became the brightest and beloved one. Skyler is one of the most vivid female heroines on TV in recent years, and it brought two Emmy Awards for Anna in 2013 and 2014.
Anna Gunn's face shape changed significantly between the end of Season 2 and the beginning of Season 3. Her body shape did not, however, and she did not show any significant weight gain until season 4. Below are photos from AMC. Note that her general physique remained the same, but her face changed:
