O perfil de sensibilidade apresentado pelos isolados de S.maltophilia neste estudo foi compatível com o característico desse agente, apresentando baixos níveis de sensibilidade aos antibióticos betalactâmicos e betalactâmicos associados a inibidores de betalactamase e melhor sensibilidade a SMX-TMP e fluoroquinolonas (1, 2, 4, 17).
