Role models often share identity characteristics with the person who looks up with them. For example, many Black teenagers will look up to influential Black leaders like LeBron James.
A role model is someone we respect, admire, look up to, and aspire to be like in some way. Role models can shape our character and ideals — showing us what it looks like to live an ethical life full of responsibility, positivity, hard work , passion, purpose, honesty , and integrity.
