12 de ene. de 2021 · Buckinghamshire is full of quaint, historical towns and villages, with lots of independent businesses, open spaces and perfect cafés. From East to West, it’s the perfect county for day trips if you enjoying pottering up and down adorable high streets or moseying around some old fashioned architecture.
Buckinghamshire has much to offer the visitor, including historic houses, stunning gardens such as those at Cliveden and Stowe, and historic attractions such as the Chiltern Open Air Museum and the Hell-Fire Caves. These tunnels were dug by hand and were once a haunt of the notorious Hellfire club!
29 de may. de 2023 · However, there are a few seaside towns within relatively easy reach of places like Aylesbury, despite Buckinghamshire being very much inland. Some beaches take less than two hours to drive, although there are others that are worth going the extra mile for.
