Leben und Karriere. Jeff Goldblum ist der dritte Sohn eines Arztes und einer Radiomoderatorin, beide jüdischen Glaubens. In seiner Kindheit besuchte er zusammen mit seiner Schwester häufig das Leona Theater, ein altmodisches Kino in Pittsburgh, das mittlerweile abgerissen wurde, und schaute sich dort etliche Filme an, zum Beispiel von Roger Corman und Vincent Price.
