31 de may. de 2001 · This is the product of a rare combination of meticulous scholarship ,deep intellect and a lifetime of study of the subject. If one wants to read only one book on the First World War this is it with the caveat that it is unfinished yet. It covers all the world and not only Europe as most books on the subject do but for different war periods.
