  5. On May 11, 1628, Dorothea was appointed adjutant of Quedlinburg Monastery by her sister Dorothea Sophie, whose aunt Maria had been abbot of the monastery since before 1610. In 1633, Dorothea left the convent and she married Albert IV, Duke of Saxe-Eisenach (1599-1644) in Weimar on June 24.
