Prinz Victor Ferdinand Franz Eugen Gustaf Adolf Constantin Friedrich zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg was the third son of Ernst I, Prince of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Princess Feodora of Leiningen, the elder half-sister of Queen Victoria. He was, therefore, a nephew of Queen Victoria.
