Its plot deals with a house haunted by a spirit of a dead witch, which has killed many over a span of 300 years. Now it is targeting the family of an alcoholic preacher who have moved there.
It deserves 2.5, but it gets a bump only for the bits where folks fall from the sky. This film seems to have more of a plot than the earlier two Matt Helm adventures, but the comedic timing seems off. There’s just too much air between comedic beats, where the joke sort of loses any momentum and dies.
