Sir Simon Fraser of Oliver and Neidpath was a Scottish knight who fought in the Wars of Scottish Independence, for which he was hanged, drawn, and quartered in 1306. He married Isabel Wemyss, daughter of Sir John Wemyss of Wemyss and Mary Stewart, in 1614. Lord Lovat led his clansmen on behalf of the Covenanters.
