Nicolas-Charles-Victor Oudinot, né le 3 novembre 1791 à Bar-le-Duc, est le fils aîné du maréchal d'Empire Charles Oudinot [1]. Député de Maine-et-Loire sous la monarchie de Juillet, 2 e duc de Reggio après le décès en 1847 de son père, grand chancelier de la Légion d'honneur et gouverneur des Invalides, il est mort le 7 juillet 1863 à Paris .
Charles Nicolas Oudinot starb am 13. September 1847 im Alter von 80 Jahren in Paris und wurde als ehemaliger Gouverneur des Hôtel des Invalides im Caveau des Gouverneurs der Cathédrale Saint-Louis-des-Invalides beigesetzt. Seine Vaterstadt errichtete ihm eine Statue. Sein Sohn Nicolas Charles Victor Oudinot (1791–1863) war ebenfalls General.
