5 de abr. de 2024 · Rosamund Clifford may have been the daughter of Walter de Clifford and his wife Margaret and her birth date is not recorded. All historians have to go on is that she was born sometime before 1150.

27 de mar. de 2021 · Rosamund de Clifford was probably born around 1140. She was the daughter of Walter de Clifford, a lord on the Welsh Marches, and his wife Margaret de Tosny. We know nothing of her childhood, she may have been educated at Godstow Abbey, but it is not certain; nor is when she actually met the king. The rest of her life is made of rumour and gossip.
Rosamund Clifford, probably born before 1140, was the daughter of Walter de Clifford, a Marcher Lord, and his wife Margaret. Rosamund had three brothers, Walter (circa 1160–1221), Richard and Gilbert, and two sisters: Amice, who married Osbern FitzHugh of Richard's Castle, Herefordshire and Lucy, wife of Hugh de Say of Stokesay, Shropshire.
