Frances Aylesbury was the daughter and eventual sole heiress of Sir Thomas Aylesbury, 1st Baronet, and his wife, Anne Denman. The translator William Aylesbury was her brother. On 10 July 1634 she became the second wife of Edward Hyde , who was later created Baron Hyde (in 1660) and Earl of Clarendon (in 1661).
When Elizabeth Hyde was born in 1639, her father, Edward Hyde, was 30 and her mother, Frances Aylesbury Countess of Clarendon, was 22. She had at least 1 son and 1 daughter with Johannes Lisle. She died in 1710, in England, United Kingdom, at the age of 71.
