16 de may. de 2024 · Public Buildings. ST. MARY'S HALL. St. Mary's Hall in Bayley Lane stands on the same site as the first hall built for the Guild of St. Mary soon after its foundation in 1340. (fn. 1) The present complex of buildings, mostly of late-14th and 15th-century date, extends southwards towards Earl Street, enclosing a small rectangular courtyard.

Between 1974 and 2011 the site was run by the Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham but today it’s looked after by Fulham Palace Trust and open for free, daily. Some of the most well-known Tudor buildings, including Windsor Castle, Hampton Court Palace, and the Tower of London feature heavily throughout the book. But according to my count, there are some eighty other properties across England that are covered.
