  3. Hace 13 horas · Alan attended Haileybury & Imperial Service College near Hertford – now just known as Haileybury – between 1952 and 1956. It was a public school and Alan was only accepted because his mother had married a manager at Barclays Bank, when Alan was 8. He, later, managed to arrange a scholarship for Alan to attend Haileybury.
