In the latter months of 1793 he came to dominate the Committee of Public Safety, the principal organ of the Revolutionary government during the Reign of Terror, but in 1794 he was overthrown and executed.

Maximilien de Robespierre, ou Maximilien Robespierre [1], est un avocat et homme politique français né le 6 mai 1758 à Arras (Artois, aujourd'hui Pas-de-Calais) et mort guillotiné le 10 thermidor an II (28 juillet 1794) à Paris, place de la Révolution (actuelle place de la Concorde).

11 de ene. de 2023 · Maximilien Robespierre (1758-1794) was one of the primary figures of the French Revolution (1789-1799). After rising to prominence in the radical Jacobin Club, he dominated the French Republic during the Reign of Terror, overseeing the executions of counter-revolutionary suspects. He was overthrown and executed himself on 28 July 1794.
Maximilien-François-Marie-Isidore de Robespierre, detto l'Incorruttibile (Arras, 6 maggio 1758 – Parigi, 28 luglio 1794) è stato un politico, avvocato e rivoluzionario francese. Fu uno dei protagonisti della rivoluzione francese e tra i padri della Prima Repubblica francese .
