Julie Warner was born in New York City in 1965; her father was a musical arranger who penned jingles for such products as Tic-Tacs, and her mother a freelance booking agent. Attending the prestigious Dalton School at age 12, it was there that Warner would form a longtime friendship with fellow actress Mary Stuart Masterson.
