Helen Elizabeth Hunt es una actriz estadounidense, hija del actor y director Gordon Hunt y de la fotógrafa Jane Hunt. Desde niña, influenciada por sus progenitores, comenzó a estudiar Interpretación en UCLA, centro universitario en el que sólo permaneció un mes. Helen inició su carrera como actriz en la parte final de los años 70.
