14 de feb. de 2006 · There's the alternate opening titled THE GRIM REAPER, and another opening titled THE SAVAGE ISLAND plays after that. The best extra is the Joe D' Amato documentary. You can watch the movie in its original Italian dialogue with English subtitles. Here's an update. I got the Severin Blu-ray. It looks much better.

So much has been said about Anthropophagus over the years: it’s slow, it’s boring, the gore is awesome, this is some sicko depravity, and there isn’t enough burnt by the sun, cannibalistic, gut-leaking, fetus munching George Eastman (Honestly though, there’s NEVER enough George Eastman in any movie as far as I’m concerned) and I totally agree with all of those statements.
