27 de dic. de 2022 · Film director Alejandro González Iñárritu recalls that the Spanish village of La Torre de Esteban Hambrán had no more than 60 houses in 1982. He and his friend Jaime San Bernardi, two Mexican kids, arrived there after boarding a cargo ship and crossing the Atlantic; after they got there, they ended up picking grapes in town, an hour away from Madrid.
"I'm so bad at killing things that I love," bemoans the filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu. In this instance, he's talking about narrowing down the list of films that have inspired him throughout life to five. "Because obviously you know that reducing to five is almost [impossible]!"
