The sci-fi drama centers on a married couple living in a near-future American Midwest, whose quite life is disrupted by the arrival of a mysterious stranger. In more ways than one, it marks a major departure from Davis' previous feature efforts, 2019's Mary Magdalene and 2016's Oscar-nominated Lion.
