It was a whirlwind tour with extra whirling as she managed to address seven meetings a day, racking up a tally of some sixty five stops over the course of just six days.

Biography She was a daughter of Richard Owen of Criccieth, Caernarfonshire, a well-to-do Methodist farmer who initially disapproved of the radical young Baptist solicitor.
