2 de dic. de 2006 · Every once in a while, someone snags a Prince song, covers it, and makes themselves a nice little hit (e.g. "Nothing Compares 2 U"). No one's done it yet with "Love's No Fun" off this album, but it's a gem of a song just waiting for it. Can't say that Elisa does it justice, either, unfortunately.

I Am. This track is not believed to have been performed live by Prince. I Am is the first track on Elisa Fiorillo ’s second album, I Am, and, shortly before the album’s release, a remix of the track, known as Am I Dub II, was included on some versions of On The Way Up, the album’s first and only commercial single.

Although Fiorillo toured heavily to promote the record, it failed to match the success of her initial single and spent a mere six weeks on the album charts, failing to notch a major hit. I Am followed in 1989, which found her working at Prince's Paisley Park recording studio with producer David Z.
