Wabash College, a private liberal arts men's college in Crawfordsville, Indiana, was founded on November 21, 1832, by a group of Presbyterian missionaries and Midwestern leaders. Initially named "The Wabash Teachers Seminary and Manual Labor College," the institution's name was shortened to its current form by 1851.
Most of the College’s structures circle the Wabash Mall with Trippet Hall on the north end and the Pioneer Chapel on the south end. The Fine Arts Center, which houses the Art, Music, Rhetoric, and Theater departments, is adjacent to the Fuller Arboretum, an open expanse of trees and brick paths.
