Steven James Grogan (born July 24, 1953) is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for sixteen seasons with the New England Patriots. He played college football for the Kansas State Wildcats and was selected by the Patriots in the fifth round of the 1975 NFL Draft .

Steve Dennis "Clem" Grogan (born May 24, 1952), is an American murderer, former member of The Manson Family. Grogan, a musician, dropped out of high school and was involved in minor crimes before joining the Manson family at the Spahn Ranch. Like Charles Manson, he was friends with Dennis Wilson of the Beach Boys.
During the days when Grogan hung around with the Beach Boy Dennis Wilson, he crashed Wilson's uninsured Ferrari while racing through the roads outside of the Spahn Ranch. Grogan was convicted of the 1969 murder of the Spahn Movie Ranch hand Donald "Shorty" Shea and was paroled in 1985.
