  3. The Governors of Cheam School are committed to broadening access to the school by offering to eligible parents means-tested financial support with the payment of fees. Such support is known as a Bursary and these may be awarded in the form of a discount on tuition and other fees payable, depending on the financial, compassionate or other pertinent circumstances of applicants.

  4. Cheam School was founded in 1645 and offers a traditional first class education for boys and girls in the 3-13 range. The school has outstanding facilities including new classrooms, music school, science block and a magnificent indoor sports centre and Art, Design & Technology Centre.

  7. Cheam school was founded sometime before 1646, and may have used either Whitehall or West Cheam manor house as its original home. The manor house was demolished in 1796. At the 1801 census, the 616 inhabitants were concentrated in three clusters: around Whitehall, around the church and on the High Street.
