Alexandra Alexandrovna von Pistohlkors ( née Taneyeva; 8 November 1888 – 25 March 1968) was the younger daughter of noted Russian composer Alexander Taneyev and the sister of Anna Vyrubova.
As a child, Marianne had an older brother, Alexander Erikovich von Pistohlkors, and an older sister, Olga Erikovna von Pistohlkors. When she was still a young girl, her mother began an affair with the widowed Grand Duke Paul Alexandrovich of Russia, causing a scandal in society.
