Princess Caroline Mathilde of Denmark (28 October 1793, Copenhagen – 31 March 1881, Copenhagen), was a member of the Danish Royal Family, the eldest surviving daughter of Frederick VI of Denmark. She was known in Denmark as " kronprinsesse Caroline " (English: Crown Princess Caroline) prior to her marriage, and later as "Arveprinsesse Caroline" (English: Hereditary Princess Caroline).
