21 de jul. de 2020 · The Azzone Visconti bridge, also known as Ponte Vecchio ( old bridge ), is one of the city’s symbols. It was built between 1336 and 1338 to allow the crossing of the Adda river. There are no longer the turrets, and the three wooden drawbridges that had been built for defensive purposes, and the structure was improved after 1832 for road upgrading.

This 14th-century bridge is still in excellent condition, it still serves as the link between Lecco and Malgrate. Beautiful historic bridge.Lovely place. An excursion along path 304, starting from Lecco (Ponte Azzone Visconti) which crosses the Adda river. The route passes through Bellavista - Pian Sciresa - Sasso della Vecchia - Prati della Corna up to the summit of Monte Barro (922m).
