John Stevens Henslow (* 6. Februar 1796 in Rochester; † 16. Mai 1861 in Hitcham, Suffolk) war ein englischer Priester, Botaniker und Geologe.
John Stevens Henslow est le fils de John Prentis Henslow, homme de loi, qui lui transmet le goût de l’ histoire naturelle, et le petit-fils de l'architecte naval John Henslow. Il fait ses études au St John's College de Cambridge. En 1818, il obtient le rang de Wrangler, un rang d’excellence en mathématique.
Letters from John James Audubon concern Henslow’s help with selling two copies of his amazing Birds of America in Cambridge, now one of the world’s most valuable books. In 1826 Henslow played a key role in University politics, acting as ‘local agent’ for Lord Palmerston at the Parliamentary Election.
