La estatua de Guillermo el silencioso es un monumento de la Universidad de Rutgers en la ciudad de Nuevo Brunswick, en el estado de Nueva Jersey ( Estados Unidos ). Fue construida en 1928 y está instalada en la sección Voorhees Mall del campus de College Avenue, a lo largo de Seminary Place, una calle en el extremo occidental del Voorhees Mall.

He was assassinated in 1584.

3 de nov. de 2023 · On 10 July 1584, he bought a wheellock pistol from another member of William’s entourage, loaded it correctly with three bullets, and waited at the top of the stairs while William finished his lunch. As William approached, Gerard stepped forward and fired the pistol. William fell backward down the stairs and died without uttering a word.
