James (Jim) Wright, 83, of Farmer City, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 24, 2023, following a lengthy battle with cancer. Jim was born December 22, 1939, a son of Roy and Opal (Phares) Wright. He married Patricia Joan Hendren on June 29, 1957, in Farmer City.
