  4. The band officially disbanded in late 1986 after the Parade Tour, which supported the soundtrack for Prince's second film, Under the Cherry Moon. However The Revolution remained close to each other through out the years and reunited on a few occasions with Prince's blessing, most notably for the American Heart Association in early 2012 after drummer, Z, suffered a near fatal heart attack.

  7. 9 de jul. de 2020 · Since Prince’s transition, I have had a very difficult time enjoying concerts or anyone else playing his music. I had the privilege to see The Revolution in May 2017 and I finally felt alive again. The show was absolutely amazing! I laughed, cried, and danced all night. Thank you Revolution! I hope you are able to make it back to Ohio!
