In 2023 the musical celebrated its 35th anniversary on Broadway, having earned the title of Broadway’s longest-running production.
I thoroughly enjoyed the off-Broadway production of Phantom of the Opera. Having seen a local production, I believe there was a change in the pace of the story. While I thought some of the pyrotechnics were a bit much, I loved the production, sets and beautiful singing/music.
