Baden bei Wien ist eine Stadt in Niederösterreich, 25 km südlich von Wien an der Thermenlinie. Als Teil der Bedeutenden Kurstädte Europas zählt die Stadt zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe. Sie ist Sitz der Bezirkshauptmannschaft Baden. Besonders bekannt ist die Stadt für ihre reichhaltige Geschichte, Biedermeierarchitektur, Kunst- sowie Weinkultur.

Baden-Baden (German pronunciation: [ˈbaːdn̩ ˈbaːdn̩] ⓘ) is a spa town in the state of Baden-Württemberg, south-western Germany, at the north-western border of the Black Forest mountain range on the small river Oos, ten kilometres (six miles) east of the Rhine, the border with France, and forty kilometres (twenty-five miles) north-east of Strasbourg, France.
Baden lies in the southwest of Germany, with most of its major cities on the Upper Rhine Plain. Bounded by Lake Constance on the south and by the river Rhine on the south and west, the region of Baden stretches from the Linzgau, Lörrach and Freiburg im Breisgau to Karlsruhe and then on to Mannheim, leading to the Main and Tauber rivers.
