Ludwig III (Ludwig Luitpold Josef Maria Aloys Alfried; 7 January 1845 – 18 October 1921) was the last King of Bavaria, reigning from 1913 to 1918. Initially, he served in the Bavarian military as a lieutenant and went on to hold the rank of Oberleutnant during the Austro-Prussian War.

Luis III (9 de octubre de 1269-9 de octubre de 1296) fue duque de la Baja Baviera a partir de 1290 hasta 1296 como co-reinante con sus hermanos Otón III y Esteban I. Biografía. Luis nació en Landshut, era hijo de Enrique XIII, duque de Baviera y de Isabel de Hungría. Sus abuelos maternos fueron Bela IV de Hungría y María Láscarina.

King Ludwig II signed an alliance with Prussia on 22 August 1866, effectively relinquishing Bavarian independence. With the treaty of 23 November 1870 Bavaria was integrated into the new German Empire, but permitted a relatively large degree of self-determination.
Louis IV (German: Ludwig; 1 April 1282 – 11 October 1347), called the Bavarian (Ludwig der Bayer, Latin: Ludovicus Bavarus), was King of the Romans from 1314, King of Italy from 1327, and Holy Roman Emperor from 1328 until his death in 1347.
