You are eligible to apply for the United States Naval Academy if you meet the following criteria: A United States Citizen by 1 July of the year of entry. At least 17 years of age and must not have passed 23rd birthday on 1 July of the year of entry. Unmarried. Not pregnant and no dependents.
Life at the Academy prepares you to be a Naval Officer in the United States Navy or Marine Corps and leadership is one of the foundational skills required. By the time you take your position as a naval officer leading Sailors and Marines, you will have had four solid years of experience developing and growing your strength as a leader.
