Her long association with Filey started when she began holidaying on The Crescent throughout the 1920s and ‘30s. He met the 8th Earl of Harewood, David Lascelles, at Harewood House, that was built with the profits made from slavery.

The appointments were made to celebrate the official birthday of The King, and were published in The London Gazette from 3 June to 12 August.
