A period of prosperity then began for Milan, based on the power of the Sforza family and the introduction of the silk industry.
20 de jun. de 2024 · Infatti, alla morte del padre Francesco Sforza, si trova al servizio del Re di Francia e, mentre tenta di ritornare a Milano per essere proclamato Duca, scampa miracolosamente ad un'imboscata. Viene ultimato nel 1472, mentre la chiesa è consacrata col titolo di "Santa Maria Annunziata" nel 1477.

Letters have arrived to-day from Bruges of the 10th inst., stating how the new King of England, i.e., King Edward, and the Earl of Warwick have routed the queen's army, and doubtless the new king will obtain the state.
