Hace 2 días · Every Feb. 20, the Catholic Church celebrates Sts. Francisco and Jacinta Marto, two of the little shepherd seers of Fatima. Both were born in Aljustrel, a small village located a little more than a half-mile from the town of Fatima in Portugal. Francisco was born in 1908 and Jacinta two years later.

The children were 7-year-old Jacinta Marto, her 8-year-old brother Francisco and their 9-year-old cousin Lúcia dos Santos.

A jarring vision of hell given to the children in one of the apparitions made a big impression on Jacinta. It prompted her desire to save sinners with prayer and penance, making sacrifices as instructed by Mary.
