The Acts of Union 1800 unified Great Britain and Ireland into the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, with George as its king.

Hace 2 días · Named for Frederick, Prince of Wales, son of King George II, the colonial town named its streets after the members of the royal family. The county court was moved to Fredericksburg in 1732. Hence, the community served as county seat until 1780.

The house in its original state was of red brick, and differed but little from any of the houses of noblemen and gentlemen which surrounded it.
